During JD Vance’s media gaggle, the VP dissed Alaska’s voters by claiming the moronic DOJ lawsuit against Alaska was necessary because voters there have jobs, are busy, have lives and they may get confused over two similar candidate names.
The DOJ says, “the State of Alaska should not be permitted to certify its results “pending an investigation” to determine whether any votes cast for the one Sullivan were meant for another.”
This is outrageous and an petty attempt to steal an election away from voters. How would they even know how voters voted when it’s a secret ballot? What an insulting suggestion on Vance’s part.
Trump admitted he told the DOJ to file the lawsuit which should discount it immediately.
The three candidates, who they are, and what party they are from are clearly marked on the ballot. Trump said voters don’t know what the word “incumbent” means to justify his corruption. Doesn’t Vance believe Alaskans can chew gum and vote at the same time?
Q: Mr. Vice President, why shouldn’t Alaskans find it insulting that the administration appears to be suggesting they can’t read the word incumbent on their ballots and know to vote for Senator Sullivan?
VANCE: Well, I think the question presumes quite a bit. I mean, look, a lot of Alaskans are going to go and look at the ballot and realize exactly what you said, that this is all a big fraud.
But people are busy.
People have lives.
People have jobs.
And when you put a person on the ballot explicitly to try to confuse voters, I think that’s the definition of electoral fraud.
And I don’t think that we should endorse it.
There is no evidence that Dan S. Sullivan Jr. was planted by the Democratic Party. He has been a known registered Republican, although he will have no party designation on the ballot.
The Alaska Supreme Court weighed in on this and agreed that he should remain on the ballot back in June.
Let’s all remember that Republicans are the originators of the duplicate candidate scam, so it’s no surprise that they’re squawking and crying and making accusations about a legit candidate whose candidacy has already been litigated.
Sowing chaos and discontent is Trump’s only play a week before the midterms.
