Here are the details: CNN is reporting that British right-wing troublemaker Milo Yiannopoulos was detained by ICE on Thursday at a Louisiana airport. DHS confirmed that he remained in custody as of Friday afternoon. Milo did enter the country legally in 2019.
DHS states he “chose to overstay his welcome in violation of our nation’s laws.” They went on to say in a post on Twitter: “Yiannopoulos was issued a final order of removal by an Immigration Judge on July 22, after failing to show up for his immigration hearing. He will remain in ICE custody pending removal.”
On August 27, ICE arrested Milo Yiannopoulos, an illegal alien from the United Kingdom, at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) in Kenner, Louisiana. Milo is a weird figure. At one time he went on a tour of colleges that he called the “Dangerous F*ggot” bus tour. It was touted as a “free speech” tour, which was a convenient way for him to seek cover for his disgusting racist and hateful language about a litany of groups, including liberals, Muslims, and transgender people.
Previously, Milo was super close to proud Nazi supporter Kanye West. He served as his chief of staff for two years (roughly 2022 to 2024) and actually headed up Kanye’s weird YE24 political campaign. And lest we forget, he ALSO worked as the former editor of Breitbart News and interned for Marjorie Taylor Greene. Talk about a chaos agent!
