Trump’s Criminalization Of Dissent Is Fascist. His mentor, Putin, Has taught him well.

By continuing to support Trump, Trump voters and the Republican Congress have made it clear that they support the transformation of American democracy into a fascist government. Do they not see the parallels between Trump and Nazism? Immigrant concentration camps, masked ICE militia, and racist rhetoric clearly mirror 1939 Germany. Is the blindness based on ignorance, a lack of understanding of the definition of fascism, racism, white Christian nationalism, attraction to cults, or partisan extremism?

Why aren’t journalists, political pundits, and democratic television programs routinely showing the definition of fascism? Fascist governance is accelerating in America as we approach the midterms.

The Oxford Dictionary definition makes it clear that Trump, his Cabinet, and the Republican Party govern as fascists.

Republicans in Congress should be asked to argue that none of these descriptions accurately describe Trump and his administration. To strengthen his fascist leanings, Trump continues to spread the many big lies the Republican Party has told its members for years, such as: 1) Republicans believe in states’ rights over a strong central, federal government; 2) they are fiscally responsible; and 3) they are loyal to the Constitution. How can any Trump voter, elected GOP government official, or Republican Supreme Court Justice read the accurate, official definition of fascism and argue that Donald Trump is not in favor of the American presidency operating in the style of fascism? When they try to negate the use of the term fascism being applied to Trump, they sound fascist.
The majority of American voters, many of whom participated in the No Kings protests yesterday, are concerned about how Trump admires, protects, promotes, and aligns with Vladimir Putin. Many worry about Putin’s influence over Trump.  Former presidents have understood that Putin despises American democracy. There is factual proof that Trump supports Putin’s fascist-style rule, adoringly calling it ” strong and powerful.” Recent policies and actions by Trump that aid Putin and Russia are:

( AI research results)

Proposed Diesel and Oil Deals: Trump proposed easing U.S. sanctions to allow Russian diesel imports under the framing of lowering American fuel prices.

Opposition to Ukrainian NATO Membership and Demands: Trump and his administration have formally opposed Ukraine’s bid for NATO membership, blamed Kyiv for the continuation of the conflict, and publicly pressured Ukrainian leadership.

Suspension of U.S. Military Aid and Intelligence and weakening Kyiv’s battlefield capabilities against Russian forces.

Rolling Back Cyber and War Crimes Research: Scale back operations targeting Russian cyber threats and defund research initiatives that track Russian war crimes.

Cuts to Soft Power and International Broadcasting: Enacted deep funding cuts or eliminated agencies counteracting Russian state narratives, including USAID, Radio Free Europe/Liberty, and Voice of America.

Tensions with European Allies: Criticized NATO and the European Union, threatened 25% tariffs on European partners, and questioned long-standing U.S. defense commitments in Europe.

All of the above policies and actions have made Vladimir Putin ecstatic and elevated his status on the world stage.

ANY  UNITED STATES PRESIDENT WHO TOOK AN OATH TO FOLLOW THE CONSTITUTION AND PROTECT DEMOCRACY WHO ADMIRES AND EMULATES WORLD DICTATORS, SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM OFFICE.  ANY PRESIDENT WHO HAS SAID, ” HITLER DID SOME GOOD THINGS”  WHEN DESCRIBING THE RACIST, MURDEROUS FASCIST FUHRER IS A CLOSETED FAN OF FASCISM. WHY WOULD ANY PATRIOT NOT SEE THIS?
