Donald Trump has unleashed a level of abuse on minorities, immigrants, women, Democrats, Epstein victims, Republican opponents, LGBTQ community, children, veterans, and the disabled ever since he was elevated another as president. During this past year the abuse, danger, violence, and disregard for the Constitution has become acutely traumatic.
Being the direct victim of his cruelty is traumatic. Observing other people being abused is traumatic. Knowing you have a president who doesn’t know what he is doing, is always angry, is always putting himself first, is vengeful, mean- spirited, uncharitable, without empathy, greedy, dishonest, had a questionable level of involvment with a sex trafficker and is a felon is traumatic.
Abuse involves physical, sexual, emotional, economic or psychological actions or threats of actions that negatively affect another person. This includes any behaviours that frighten, intimidate, terrorise, manipulate, hurt, humiliate, blame, injure, or wound someone.

● His has created policies without regard for the public health or financial stability of the average American. ●¤He has emboldened racists to abuse minorities
● He has appointed cruel, vengeful, lawless people to corrupt the government and abuse the public
● He blames others for his bad behavior or failures
● He never apologizes
● He has taken away Constitutional freedoms
● He scares us by befriending America’s enemies and world dictators
● He lies, gaslights, and breaks promises
● He blames victims and sides with perpetrators
Trump’s policies, rhetoric, and behaviours have hurt millions of American citizens and immigrants who have contributed to America’s prosperity and values. His angry, negative persona views people’s differences, struggles, and beliefs as wrong, substandard, or unimportant if they differ from his. His narcissism has not enabled him to show empathy towards people and the challenging life circumstances they encounter.
Trump’s disregard for American laws, values, and norms have created a negative climate that has made millions of Americans feel abused and abandoned by a person who promised peace, prosperity, and commitment to his oath of office and instead has modeled how to abuse people, get away with it, and prosper while doing it.
Trump’s relationship with the average American is analogous to a marriage that goes from promises, love, and hope to betrayal, despair, and regret.
INSTEAD OF THE CONGRESS HAVING THE POWER TO IMPEACH AND REMOVE A PRESIDENT, THE ABUSED ELECTORATE SHOULD HAVE THE POWER TO END THE ABUSE AND REMOVE HIM FROM OFFICE. EMPOWER THE VICTIMS.
