President Donald Trump revealed that his recent visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center included an MRI scan that he called “perfect.”
The Trump administration announced early in October that Trump would be receiving a second once-yearly check-up ahead of a scheduled trip to the Middle East. Trump touted the results of the MRI and medical report when speaking with reporters aboard Air Force One on Monday.
“I got an MRI. It was perfect,” said. “If I didn’t think it was going to be good, either, I would let you know negatively, I wouldn’t run. I’d do something. But the doctor said some of the best reports, for the age, some of the best reports they’ve ever seen.”

When asked why he received the MRI, Trump told reporters to “ask the doctors.”
“I gave you the full results,” he said. “Nobody has ever given you reports like I gave you.”
Trump said that his doctors offered the press “a very conclusive” report on his MRI scan, though no report has been provided to White House reporters as of this writing. He also alluded to possibly running for an unconstitutional third term, noting that his health would need to be “good” to run.

Questions and rumors surrounding the president’s health have dogged him since the beginning of his second term. In February, pictures of Trump with bruises on his hands circulated, though the White House physician gave him a clean bill of health two months later. Concerns arose again over the summer when Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, after photos appeared of the president with swollen legs and ankles.
